Membership Rules

Please review our library membership rules and guidelines to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.

1. General Guidelines

  • Every member must present their valid library card to borrow any materials.
  • Lost library cards must be reported immediately to prevent unauthorized use.
  • Members are responsible for all materials checked out on their card.

2. Borrowing & Renewals

  • Books can be checked out for a period of 14 days.
  • Renewals are permitted up to two times if the book is not requested by another member.
  • Reference materials cannot be checked out and must be used inside the library.

3. Fines & Fees

  • Overdue materials are subject to a daily fine.
  • Members with outstanding fines exceeding a certain limit may have their borrowing privileges suspended.
  • Lost or severely damaged books will incur a replacement fee.

4. Conduct Inside the Library

  • Please maintain a quiet environment suitable for reading and studying.
  • Food and drinks (except water in sealed containers) are not allowed.
  • Respect library staff and other patrons at all times.
